Tracy Tang is an international prize-winning pianist who has performed in venues including Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, and Musikverein. 

The Young Steinway Artist has been featured at leading festivals such as the Aspen Music Festival, Bowdoin International Music Festival, and Mozarteum Summer Festival. Outside of the concert hall. Tracy regularly partners with Room to Read and the Boston Public Library to encourage musical accessibility in non-traditional concert settings. 

A dedicated educator, Tracy maintains active institutional teaching studios ranging from early and pre-college education to collegiate students in the Boston area. Her teaching philosophy fosters growth, technique, and creativity, inspiring students to build confidence and a lifelong appreciation for music.

 

Tracy holds Bachelor's and Master's of Music with Honors from the New England Conservatory of Music, an Artist Diploma from the Royal Academy of Music, and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Musical Arts in piano performance at Boston University. Mentors include Alexander Korsantia, Christopher Elton, Yevgeny Sudbin, and Pavel Nersessian.

 

Happiest on the road, Tracy can often be found driving cross-country with her dog Proko - named after the great Sergei - in search of big mountains and big skies, performing and organizing concerts in local towns along the way.
